Being a Detroit boy, I was not able to attend those New York cons, but have happily added the programs to my collection over the years. Anthony, 1968 was a little too early for me, but I was at all of the Detroit Triple Fan Fairs/cons during the 70’s, like Bob was at those great New York shows! It was so cool to be at a convention of like minded fans and all those wonderful dealers of the day! Good memories, for sure! Bob, I’ve actually got duplicates of the Comic Art programs/con booklets from 72 through 76, believe it or not.

I must still have the program books somewhere, but it’ll take some hunting to find them. The ’78 was the only con I’ve ever attended in costume — I entered the contest as the Human Bomb.
