This was one of the works that opened my eyes as to what comics were truly capable of. Some of it was gratuitous, perhaps, but at the age of 17, I really didn’t mind . . . !

And yeah, when I realized that this was written by the same Don McGregor who had done those incredible Killraven stories, I was incredulous. I had only discovered those several months prior, and it was almost as though this story were set in the same future!

Not blood, violence and sex JUST for “adult” purposes, but a story constructed to entertain.

More comics like this are needed.
