This was my favourite run of Superman comics, and fwiw, I preferred the “Superman Breaks Loose!” to the “Kryptonite Nevermore” tag (you just know that would be an empty, or at most temporary, declaration).

Hey John, thanks for stopping by! Yes, in my heart, I’m a “Marvel guy”, but really I’m just a plain “comic book guy”. Love these things. I agree Kirby’s Marvel work is amazing! and during the wild wooly sixties, Jack did just about everything at Marvel. Sure Heck and Tuska didn’t hold a candle to Jack, but Colan and Ditko did some great work back then, as well. And for the record, I love DC’s wacky sixties comics too. I own early runs of many of their books, including; Batman, Detective, Flash, Green Lantern, Justice League, and maybe my favorite from DC in the sixties, the Doom Patrol.
