It’s not often that a batch of photos cross my desk<\/a> that have specific addresses written on them, so when one does, I always enjoy checking out how similar the area looks now, versus whatever period is in the photo. \u00a0This week we found a nice example!<\/a><\/p>\n Google Street View isn’t always pinpoint accurate, as far as the exact address goes, so you have to sometimes slide up & down the street a little to find the right spot.<\/p>\n First, here’s our vintage 1928 photo, inscribed “Our home in Lansing, 126 Barnes Ave East.”<\/p>\n
