Welcome once again to a new edition of Fabulous Finds!\u00a0 This week I am again doing something a little different.\u00a0 I’ll be writing about one of my Thanksgiving traditions involving music.\u00a0 Any of you that know me well, know that I’m not just a guy interested in comic books and fanzines, but I love old paperback books from the fifties, sixties and seventies, and also music, lots and lots of music!\u00a0 I still have most of my original vinyl collection, both albums and singles (45s) from my youth, plus way to many cds to ever try to count.\u00a0 As most of you might guess my music collection centers on the sixties and seventies, but I have many earlier, as well as, later albums, as well.<\/p>\n
So today I want to talk about an album I put on my turntable on Thanksgiving morning, as my wife readies the Thanksgiving turkey and all those wonderful fixings that go into a Thanksgiving family dinner.\u00a0 okay, so what is that album?\u00a0 Well, that would be Alice’s Restaurant<\/strong> by Arlo Guthrie<\/strong>!\u00a0 It was issued by Reprise Records<\/strong> in 1967.\u00a0 Here is the cover to the album:<\/p>\n
