Thanks for doing this review, Greg! Nice to see Gene Colan get some “air time” so to speak. (Gene and Arnold Drake, among many others, were indeed credited in the film with a “Special Thanks”, which was great to see.)

One suggestion, if I may…hold off a bit on the exclamation points. When used so much, they lose their impact. (I’m sure you know what I mean when you read some older comics where every sentence ends with one! Whether they need it or not! Like this! And this! LOL) 🙂

I really enjoy these reviews and I’m glad you’re doing them. I never read the GoG series of the 90s or later so I look forward to more info whenever you get around to it. Thanks again!

In reply to Arthur Elizondo. Arthur, the characters in the movie are currently same characters in the current Guardians of the Galaxy comic book series from Marvel. The new Marvel Now series is only up to issue number 17, so it wouldn't be to hard to go back & pick up the issues, and not to expensive either. I'm not sure, but there may already be a trade of the first 6 or 8 issues available, as well, if you guys didn't want to hunt for the individual issue. Check at Back to the Past, or a comic shop near to you!

Thank you, I have been reading comics for about 40 years now. I only remember seeing the Guardians in the Avengers when they fought Korvac. My collection was passed down to my son. I recently took my nephew to see the Guardians movie and he had 100 questions. He was shocked when I told him I didn’t know anything about the Characters from the new film. I did know about Drax and Gamora ,but the others nothing. Anyway thank you again for the information. I will send this to my nephew.
