While the Teenage Mutant Turtles have been part of the pop culture scene for decades as their own entity, they've also had quite the crossover with a number of other pop culture icons and events. Like Barbie and her many professions, the Turtles have had their fair share of adventures and roles. Check out our list below for some of the most interesting and valuable sets. As always, condition and rarity play a role - but if you thought these were unattainable, think again! We've got many of these in our online gallery. Take a look and take one home today!

  1. Eventually all franchises go to space and the turtles were no different! The Turtles donned their space gear as part of a 25th Anniversary special for Apollo 11. These particular sets were released in limited edition and if you can get your hands on them, you'll do NASA and TMNT proud! Value: $250-300
  2. While Universal may still be trying to make their Epic Universe happen, the Turtles embraced the monsters in 1993 with Raphael as The Mummy and The Mutant, Leo as the Wolfman and Creature from the Black Lagoon, Mikey as Frankenstein and the Invisible Man, and Donny as Dracula. Value $900-1200.
  3. Surfs up! The Turtles found themselves hitting the waves and hanging ten in 1993. Playmates produced Surfer Leo and his Mondo Mutant Surfer Tube to satisfy the beach boy in all of us! Value: $3000
  4. Not only did the Turtles fight crime, they solved it too! In 1994, Playmates released Raphael as the Undercover Surveillance Spy Turtle Technician. It includes classic detective pieces like a tan trench coat and vintage fedora. Value: $4500
  5. There are several pieces in the TMNT lines that have risen in value over the years, including a rare 1993 Scratch, the Crafty Crook Cat. Decked out in prison black and white stripes, Scratch comes with yellow accessories and is a must have for any TMNT collection. Value $15000 - 20000.

Whether you grew up with the comics, cartoon, 90s live action movies, or the new TMNT renaissance  - it's hard to deny that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles haven't earned their place in the pop culture zeitgeist. We've got a lovely collection of not only the Turtles mentioned above, but a whole lot more in our online gallery! Browse our inventory and add to your collection - or if you're new, start one! This particular collection comes from a mom who had 2 Turtle fan sons and whenever she'd purchase toys for the kids, she bought an extra to hide away. We're excited to work with this awesome collection! If you're looking to bring a collection to market, we can help!
